I’m sure we all agree that taking a vacation once in awhile is important to everyone. It has a lot of benefits aside from just enjoyment. 10MostToday have put together a list of the 10 most visited countries in the world and threw in these countries’ best attractions. Hope this helps you select your destination for your next vacation.
-
Turkey
Turkey has a record of 31.3 million guests arrival as of December 2016. Some of the attractions found are the Bodrum Castle which is one of the most impressive Crusader castles in the world. The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul which is a historical street market and the world famous Pamukkale hot springs.
-

-
Mexico
With a 35 million tourist visits in its record, Mexico falls at 8th place among the most visited countries in the world. I personally, automatically think of tacos and burritos when I hear Mexico. Turns out, this country has a lot more to offer aside from their world famous cuisines. When in Mexico, you should visit Cancun, Los Cabos and Tutum.
-
Germany
With a 600,000 more tourists visit than Mexico, Germany is the 7th most visited country in the world. Germany is also among the 10 biggest countries in Europe. Here you can see the top places you should visit in its capital, Berlin. For young people and the young at hearts, make sure to drop by their Disneyland counterpart: Europa-Park.
-
United Kingdom
The UK boasts of a whopping 35.8 tourists visits as of 2016. Found in the United Kingdom is a UNESCO world heritage site which also happens to be one of the most famous churches in the world; The Westminster Abbey. You should also visit the famous clock tower in Birmingham University named Old Joe.
-
Italy
With almost 20 million more visits than the UK, Italy is our 5th most visited country. It is home to the famous church St. Peter’s Basilica and a lot of magnificent sculptures. Locals and those who have already been in the country recommends several Italian restaurants too.
-
China
Believe it or not, China is ranking quite high on our list. The country though also famous for their ability to manufacture everything, also has several tourists attractions to offer. -
Spain
Spain offers attractions of different genres. It is home to famous churches for those who appreciate the historical religious structures. Then there’s also Ibiza which was once tagged as the party capital of the world. Spain has recorded 75.5 million tourists visits as of 2016.
-
United States
Since the previous centuries, a majority of the earth’s population wishes to migrate to the US. For some reason, it has become a popular belief that there is no poverty in America (The USA in particular). That probably is one of the reasons that the United States is the 2nd most visited country in the world with recorded tourist visits of 75.6 million. And the winner is… (drumroll)
-
France
France has recorded 82.6 million number of tourists. Goes without saying, Paris is the most visited city in France. Who hasn’t heard of the Eiffel Tower or the Notre Dame, right? There’s also the Louvre Museum and the Palace of Versailles to stop by at when in France.

10 Most Dangerous Jobs In The World
My grandmother used to say, “when it’s your time, then it’s your time.” It does not matter if you are flying thousands of miles above land in an airplane or in a cruise ship, leisurely traveling the wide oceans, you can be in the comfort of your bed at home, but when the time comes for you to leave then it’s time to leave. Still, I always wondered what are the most dangerous jobs there is.
I found 10 vocations wherein the first step to be done effectively is overcoming fear. Below are the 10 (arguably) Most Dangerous Jobs in the world.
-
Roofers
They are in charge of roof installation maintenance. Their job is extremely dangerous due to the risk of falling from the roof they are working on as well as prolonged exposure to the sun that may result in heat stroke. High blood pressure and/ or heart attack.
-
Traffic Enforcers
Especially in the “not-so-rich” countries where traffic lights are scarce and mostly busted, traffic enforcers are in charge of making sure road accidents, specifically collisions, are avoided. They also ensure (or at least try to) that traffic is always smooth sailing and there’s as little delay as possible. The danger? Getting run over (deliberately or not) by irresponsible motorists that can lead to serious injury or even death.
-
Police Officers
Doesn’t matter if they are a beat cop, a homicide detective or an undercover agent. Their life is always at risk from the villains that they are trying to apprehend.
-
Fire Fighters
In some countries, firemen are only responsible for responding to fire incidents while in some they are responsible for more than that. I’ve seen a few episodes of Chicago PD and it made me understand the other dangers of being a firefighter. Apparently, they are also called to respond to other life-threatening incidents like road and construction accidents wherein they are constantly putting their own life at risk to save others.
-
Linemen and High Voltage Power Workers
Being an electrician who works with electricity on the ground is really dangerous enough. Imagine the added danger of working with really high voltage (hundreds or even thousands times more than your usual 220 or 110 volts at home) while dangling from a tower or a helicopter. Wheeew!
-
Miners
May it be coal, minerals or diamond miners, these people eat danger for breakfast, lunch and dinner so to speak. Their lives are constantly in danger of being buried alive under man-made tunnels with one wrong move or one misplaced explosive.
-
Herdsmen & Ranchers
It’s not a joke shepherding even farm animals. We can never really tell when they will get triggered, be violent and attack their owners and/ or caretakers. Ranchers are always at risk of getting attacked by a horse or cow or whatever animals they are attending to.
-
Hunters
No matter how trained you are, you can never be so sure of what awaits you in the deeps of the jungles. Hunters are always at risk of being the hunted especially when dealing with wildlife born to be predators.
-
Fishermen
They catch fish for a living through various methods. Some use nets, poles, there are some who even dives for fish. They are always at risk of drowning and in some countries hypothermia. Yes, especially deep water fishermen, see the Deadliest Catch if you don’t believe how dangerous it can get.
-
Soldiers
They are sent to other countries to fire guns and be fired at. From the get go, they already know that their lives will be constantly at risk from terrorists and/ or soldiers from countries they are at war with.

10 Most Expensive Toys Ever Sold
Last week, we talked about the most expensive chocolates in the world and way back we had the pleasure of sharing with you the most expensive paintings ever sold. Now, if you think some of their prices are totally unbelievable then wait till you see how much these most expensive toys ever sold costs.
-
Stefano Canturi Barbie or Diamond Barbie [$302,500]
Designed by the famous jewelry designer Stefano Canturi, the Diamond Barbie is the world record holder for the most expensive Barbie ever sold. It was auctioned at Christie’s and was sold for a whopping $302,000. Yes, wow! That cost more than my house and car combined. Anyway, this just the starter, read on to see the other most expensive toys that made our list.
-
Gold Rocking Horse [$600,000]
I remember when I was younger, I also used to have a rocking horse but it was made of wood and painted a shiny red and I always play with it. Imagine my reaction when I saw this solid gold rocking horse that apparently cost the royal couple Jay-Z and Beyonce $600,000. Ain’t Baby Blue the lucky one?
-
The Masterpiece Cube Rubik’s Cube [$1.5 million]
A regular Rubiks Cube can be purchased from Amazon for as low as $2.95, probably cost lower on your local toy store. So how expensive a high-end Rubiks cube can cost? A grand or two? Well, guess again, for there’s one that was made of gold, emerald, amethysts, and rubies and was priced at $1.5M. It was made to commemorate Rubiks Cube’s 15th founding anniversary.
-
Golden Monopoly [$2 million]
I have reason to believe that Monopoly is a universal game, it has been published in several different languages and in different edition/ version. My sister even bought (by mistake) a Spanish monopoly and has been constantly teased by my daughters about it. Anyway, before I completely transported back to memory lane, what Id really like to tell you about is this 18 karat gold Monopoly board that was sold for $2M dollars. I wouldn’t be surprised if they soon come up with a game version that requires real money wherein you can purchase real properties.
-
Steiff Louis Vuitton Teddy Bear [$2.1 million]
Established in 1880, Steiff Germany is the oldest and the only existing manufacturer of high-end teddy bears. They pride themselves on the high-quality material and workmanship of their products. In 2000, Steiff has collaborated with the world-famous brand in fashion Louis Vuitton and created the most expensive teddy bear ever sold.
-
Shimansky Soccer Ball [$2.59 million]
So this next toy on our list, I don’t think you’d like to play with. I know I wouldn’t. It is a $2.59 million US dollar worth soccer ball. Very expensive because it’s diamond studded. I don’t believe anyone would have the guts to kick it around and risk losing one of its gems in their backyard.
-
Lamborghini Aventador Model Car [$4.6 million]
$4.6 million dollars for a Lamborghini, hmmm seems about right. But once you learn that what we’re talking about is a car that can sit on your desktop, then that’s a different situation eh? Take a look at this Lamborghini Aventador Model Car that is Swarovski studded for this is exactly the Lamborghini that cost $4.6 M! And if you think you’ve seen them all, take a closer look at these top 3 most expensive toys ever sold.
-
Madame Alexander Eloise [$5 million]
What would you buy for $5 million dollars? A house? A car? Are you going to start a business? You can do all those or you can buy a doll. Yes, a doll named Madame Alexander Eloise costs just that. Speechless.
-
L’Oiseleur (the bird trainer) [$6,250,000]
L’Oiseleur which translates as bird trainer is 4ft tall automaton (moving doll) created by a French automata expert. It is priced at $6,250,000.
-
Astolat Dollhouse Castle [$8.5 million]
The Astolat Dollhouse Castle is officially the most expensive dollhouse in the world with a price tag of $8.5 million dollars. It is said to be so expensive due to its structure itself that boasts of the finest engineering, architecture, sculpting and just generally creativeness.
Toys. They are not just for kids but also for the kids at heart. Some want toys that they can really use and play with while some want toys for their collection. Either way, toys sole purpose (I believe) is to bring joy to everyone. Do you think there’s a difference though? Does the happiness a toy can bring depend on how much it cost? Well, to each his own and happiness shouldn’t come with the figures is my personal belief.

10 Most Expensive Chocolates In the World
Previously, we already had the chance to talk about the 10 Most Expensive Paintings Ever Sold as well as the Most Expensive Cities To Live In, yours truly did a little research to find out what are the most expensive chocolates in the world. I hope this also interests you as much as it does me…
Everybody (at least almost) loves chocolate they say, and boy I couldn’t agree more. I, for one, prefer a chocolate bar over any other sweets like candy, cakes or ice creams. Did you know though, that people who describe chocolates a food for the gods aren’t actually wrong? The Latin name Theobroma for cacao tree (where cocoa then eventually chocolates came from), literally means food for the gods. The thing is, some of these heavenly treats can also cost like only gods can afford them…
10. House of Grauer’s Aficionado’s Collection Chocolates
Priced at $270 per box, the House of Grauer’s Aficionado’s Collection Chocolates is said to be made to look and even smell like a fine authentic Cuban cigar. The House of Grauer even offers a “petite” box or a sampler for those who are unsure but would like to try a cigar and chocolate fusion.
9. Delafee Edible Gold Creations
At 390 CHF or $397 USD for a box of 8 pieces chocolate coated in 24K edible gold, the Delafee Gold Chocolate Box is one of the most expensive chocolates in the world. The box includes a collectible swiss gold coin.
8. Noka Vintages Collection
Noka Chocolates is an American based but Canadian owned company. At $854 per pound, Forbes magazine has tagged the Noka Vintage Collection as one of the most expensive chocolates in the world.
7. Brownie Extraordinaire
Offered at the Brulee dessert restaurant, this dark chocolate brownie is served with a rare port wine in a vintage looking atomizer as it’s container. What’s really omg-worthy about it is the $1,000 price tag.
6. Wispa Gold Wrapped Chocolate
This golden caramel filled chocolate bar is made by the most known household name for chocolates: Cadbury. The Wispa Gold limited edition was sold (as the image shows) for 961.48 British Pounds or 1280.28 US Dollar.
5. La Madeline au Truffe
A rare Perigord Truffle encased in a rich chocolate ganache. Costs $250 a piece which makes a pound worth $2600.
4. Swarovski Studded Chocolate
Produced exclusively by the high-end department store Harrods in collaboration with the Lebanese chocolatier Patchi. This chocolate t studded with Swarovski crystals is a real treat indeed. Priced at $10,000, no one would say otherwise.
3. The Golden Speckled Egg
Sold for more than $10,000, the Golden Speckled Egg is the world’s most expensive chocolate egg and the biggest easter chocolate egg.
2. Frozen Haute Chocolate
The Frozen Haute Chocolate from the New York restaurant Serendipity 3 is sold for a shocking price of $25,000 which made it the most expensive dessert in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records. It is served in a Gold and diamond adorned goblet with a 23K gold spoon (both can be taken home).
1. Le Chocolat Box by Simon Jewelers
Unfortunately, the real most expensive chocolate in the world costing 1 million US dollars was priced not because of the heavenly taste or the rarity of the cacao used but because of how it was packaged. It comes with gold diamonds and other treasured gems.
